Wendy Voyer joined the team in November of 2022. She started as a graduate intern for the RSVP Center while perusing her Masters of Public Health with a specialization in Health Education and Promotion. After the completion of her internship, she took on the role of Prevention Specialist alongside Mary Reid. Wendy will oversee undergraduate programming such as “The Date” and “Stand By Me” as well as student group relations and advocacy.
Wendy earned her Bachelors of Science in Health Education and Promotion at Fontbonne University. She was the first of the graduates in this new track to receive the CHES® certification (Certified Health Education Specialist) which she still holds today. She began her career working at a local non-profit doing community health education, program development, and community outreach for local schools and students. She has also worked in education and more recently has spent time as a private health coach.
Wendy feels that the students are the greatest assets and the most important stakeholders at WashU. During this formative time in their lives, she is looking forward to working with them to create a healthier, safer, and more inclusive campus.
Outside of WashU, Wendy can be found with her dog Viva at the park, on a hike, or exploring the unique environments/events that STL has to offer.
