Maggie Eldridge completed both her bachelor’s degree in psychology & her master’s degree in social work from Washington University in St Louis & has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2010.  Maggie has previously worked at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, at several local inpatient, residential, & community mental health agencies.

Maggie is a rostered Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapist, a Master Addiction Clinician/Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate (CCDP-D) for addictions, alcohol, & substance abuse treatments, an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist working with neurodivergent populations & is a clinical member for the Association for the Treatment & Prevention of Sexual Abuse (ATSA).  Maggie is a certified Clinician Administrator for the PTSD Scale for the DSM-5 Assessment (CAPS-5), a Qualified Licensure Supervisor (LCSW) in Clinical Social Work Supervisor, & a field education supervisor (BSW/MSW).  Maggie is also a contracted professional facilitator for the Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH), providing continuing professional education topics on sexual harassment, relationship and sexual violence prevention, and implicit bias training.  Maggie is also on the advisory committee for the Department of Justice-Office on Violence Against Women & The National Organization for Victim Assistance Campus Coordinated Community Response Teams & she is also a peer reviewer for the Department of Justice-Office on Violence Campus Programming Grants submissions.  Maggie has extensive clinical expertise working with complex trauma & has worked with both survivors & perpetrators of interpersonal, relationship, sexual, & family violence.

Maggie uses the following therapy modalities, including Cognitive Processing Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, Strengths-Based, & Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  Maggie’s overall treatment prioritizes the authentic & genuine therapeutic relationship over any treatment modality.  Maggie also incorporates strengths-based, integrative, holistic wellness, various educational & learning styles, & art therapy techniques with culturally sensitive & compassionate care. Maggie feels her role is to assist with the client on their journey as they explore their goals, make meaning in their lives, learn new skills, & overcome obstacles towards healthier changes in their lives. 

In Maggie’s free time she likes to read books, make art, tend to her plants/gardens, go hiking/biking, traveling, or you can find her in Forest Park with her dogs, or attending any of the various types of live entertainment events around St Louis.
